We Are The 13%! New Bitcoin Meme Shirt!

The once bitcoin-only self-custody company, Casa, decided to add support for Ethereum. Saifedean Ammous, author of the The Bitcoin Standard, previously stated, “[Ethereum] is the mother asshole from which the shitcoins spring.”

Many bitcoiners were disappointed that Casa decided to add support for Ethereum, as they see Ethereum the same way Ammous does. They called out Jameson Lopp, Co-founder & CTO of Casa, who had been critical of Ethereum in the past. Lopp subsequenlty made fun of bitcoiners in response to a claim that only 87% of people who hold bitcoin also hold other crypto tweeting, "Shhhhhhhhhhhhh the 13% might hear you."

As they've done before, bitcoiners on Twitter embraced the insult, with some even updating their Twitter names to include 13%.
